Prerequisite: None.  No Experience Necessary.   For the  Relative Newbie and the Total Beginner!
   
Note:
This single class is equivalent to Swing I, Swing II A, & Swing II B All In One! 
(3 classes for the price of 2 !  --  Swing / Lindy Hop / & Charleston All In One!) 
Use this class to get on the Fast Track to Dancing like a Pro! 

 

Tuesdays

Swing III   ·  (A) Charleston & Hot Swing Variations September 14, 21 & 28 + October 5    7:30 to 8:30pm

Prerequisite: Swing II A  (Jump, Kick, Fly) - OR -    
  1 month dance experience with Charleston Basic required  -  and experience with a Charleston Variation or Two  recommended  (but not required).    
Note: This class (or equivalent) is required for the next Lindy II Class.  If you are not familiar with Charleston Breakaway, Hand-to-Hand Charleston, the Skip Up (rotational Charleston), and good lead-follow in Charleston based on weight shifts, you should take this class!

  Lindy Hop Basics  ( Swingout, Basic Swingout Variations, Lindy Circle, Lindy Turns, Mix 6 & 8 Counts  Fluidly, Solid Lead-Follow Including Rocksteps & Weight Shifts; Basic Turns )

Lindy I  · Complete Lindy Hop Basics  October 12, 19, 26  +  November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30    7:30 to 8:30pm

Prerequisite: Swing II B (Lindy Intro)      - OR  -   Swing Bootcamp    - OR  -     

at least 1 month experience dancing swing with Triple Steps.
Note:
Because there are multiple basics & counts in Lindy Hop and due to the complexity of this style of dance, in order to get all the essentials, it takes 8 weeks instead of 4.  This class is priced as such.
